Help that goes at your pace
Lots of people tell us they feel silly asking for tech help. You shouldn't. Phones and websites change all the time, and they're often designed by people in a hurry.
We sit with you, at your kitchen table or in your armchair, and go through things slowly. You do the tapping and we guide you, so you remember it next time. If you'd like, we leave a simple written guide for the things you use most.
Staying safe from scams
Scam texts and calls are aimed at older people every day. On every visit we can check for anything suspicious, block unwanted numbers, and show you the warning signs to look out for.
We never ask for your passwords or PIN. If you need to log in to something, you type it yourself while we look away.
Price
£32 an hour, with a one-hour minimum. Setting up one new device, such as a phone or tablet, is £41, including up to an hour.
Questions
Do I need to buy anything first?
No. We can work with the phone, tablet or computer you already have. If you need something new, we can tell you what to look for so you don't pay for things you don't need.
Can you teach me, not just fix it?
Yes, that's the main part of what we do. We'll show you step by step and can leave a written note of the steps.
Do you do repairs?
We sort settings, software and connection problems. For broken screens or hardware faults we'll tell you honestly and point you to a repair shop.
Ready for a hand?
Tell us what's tricky and we'll arrange a visit at a time that suits you.
