Questions and answers

The things people ask us most. Can't see your question? Ask us.

Who do you help?

Older people living in their own homes in the London Borough of Ealing, and their families. You don't need to be any particular age; if you'd like a hand, we're happy to help.

What can you help with?

Phones, tablets, computers, video calls, email, the NHS App, smart home devices, post, bills, forms and appointments. If you're not sure, just ask.

How much does it cost?

These are our launch prices: £32 an hour with a one-hour minimum, £41 to set up a single device (including up to an hour), or £56 a month for our monthly plan with a 90-minute visit each month.

Can I buy a visit as a gift?

Yes. Gift visits make a lovely present, especially with a new phone or tablet. Get in touch and tell us who it's for.

Are you a new business?

Yes. Maureen & Partners started in 2026 as a small, family-run service in Ealing. Being small means you deal with the same friendly person each time.

Do you give talks to community groups?

Yes. We offer free, friendly talks on spotting scams for clubs, churches and community groups in Ealing. Get in touch to arrange one.

How do I pay?

By bank transfer or card, before the visit. We confirm the price in writing first.

Can I cancel?

Yes. When you book a visit at home you have 14 days to cancel. The monthly plan can be cancelled at any time.

Will you ask for my passwords or bank details?

Never. We never ask for PINs or passwords and never take bank cards or cash. If you need to log in, you type it yourself.

Can my son or daughter book for me?

Yes. Many of our visits are booked by family. We'll always check you're happy for us to visit, and we can send them a note afterwards if you'd like.

Do you provide care?

No. We don't provide personal care, medication or cleaning. We focus on tech and paperwork.

Do you give financial or legal advice?

No. We help you understand and organise things. For advice, we'll point you to the right place, such as Citizens Advice.

Which areas do you cover?

The London Borough of Ealing, including Ealing Broadway, West Ealing, South Ealing, Northfields, Hanwell, Acton, Greenford, Perivale, Northolt and Southall.
